Unique Hats
Cologne's Izabela Ockenfels, fashion editor and founder of Headwear Now, as well as Pia Diefenthal and her partner Thomas Rüttgers, the owners of the hat company Diefenthal 1905, have started a joint hat project. The focus is on creative, season-independent individualization of hats. Handcrafted, one-of-a-kind finishes are produced from serially manufactured hats at moderate prices.
At Diefenthal 1905 at Friesenwall 102 in Cologne, the finished "Unique Hats" can be tried on and bought directly on the 1st Saturday of each month from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. If there is no suitable hat, a basic hat can be selected and the individual custom finish can be ordered from Izabela. The other way to a "Unique Hat" is via a fixed appointment.
